Veteran Paul Guede leads Lions to travel joy on Tyneside

London Lions put last week’s loss behind them as they recorded an impressive road win at Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
The Lions improve to 11-7 with the victory, whilst denting Newcastle’s league hopes as they lose ground at the top.

Turning point – The Lions made a 7-0 start to the fourth to move ahead before Newcastle opened up a 73-69 advantage with a quick burst. The visitors re-gained control and were able to hold on down the stretch for a big road success.
Key stat – London forced their way to the line as they converted 20 of 24 from the free throw line, while the Eagles made eight of their nine attempts.
