Bristol beat South-West rivals Plymouth

Bristol Flyers picked up an important win in the BBL Championship as they defeated their South-West rivals, Plymouth Raiders.
Andreas Kapoulas’ side improve to 9-11 ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Surrey Scorchers with the Raiders looking over their shoulder at 11-13.

Turning point – The Flyers jumped out to a fast start and never looked back, establishing a commanding 24-point lead at the half. Plymouth increased their scoring output in the second half, but the gap was too large to overcome.
Key stat – Bristol out-rebounded their opponents 44-35 and shot 60% from inside the arc including 50 points in the paint.
Game hero(es) – McCloud led the way with 21 points along with 10 assists with Thomas adding 20 points with eight rebounds to help their side back to winning ways with six players in double figures.
