Lions return to The 02 for a second time in four years

London Lions advanced to the Play-Off Final after overcoming Glasgow Rocks on the road to reach The O2.

The tie was level before the start following Thursday’s First Leg draw, but the Lions produced a strong display to power through.

Turning point – London came out firing to establish an early double-digit advantage and this time there would be no comeback from the Rocks. The Lions continued to build their lead with their advantage hitting 19 points late on as they were able to celebrate the victory.

Key stat – The Lions found their flow on offence, shooting 57% from the floor and only missed one free throw in 15 attempts.

Game hero(es) – Jonathon Thompson top scored with 17 points on 7 of 9 shooting, but it was a complete team display from the Lions as six players hit double figures in total.
