LBTV Pick of the Week: Bristol Flyers v Surrey Scorchers

Details: Saturday 16 March, 7:30pm, SGS Wise Arena, BBL Championship

A second meeting in as many weeks for two sides currently outside of the top eight. Surrey ended their long wait for a win on the road as they denied the Flyers a double-winning weekend with Bristol at home for the last time in March ahead of a three-game road trip.

Leicester Riders v Esh Group Eagles Newcastle 

Details: Friday 15 March, 7:30pm, Morningside Arena, BBL Championship

A big clash between second and third in the league as both look to chase down the Lions with the head-to-head also on the line. The Riders have won six straight league games, while the Eagles have won four of their last five in the league – all at home.

Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks v Manchester Giants

Details: Friday 15 March, 7:30pm, Emirates Arena, BBL Championship

Interim head coach, Vincent Lavandier’s first game in charge ended in defeat last week, but the Rocks are back at home for a double-header at the Emirates Arena. The Giants are the first visitors with the two sides having met in the Semi-Finals of the Cup as Glasgow advanced.

Plymouth Raiders v London Lions

Details: Sunday 17 March, 3pm, Plymouth Pavilions, BBL Championship

The Lions return to action following their Trophy Final defeat, while Plymouth suffered a heavy loss at the hands of their South-West rivals. The Raiders account for one of only two league losses for the Lions and are looking to strengthen their place in the top eight.

Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks v Worcester Wolves

The Rocks complete their home double-header by welcoming basement side Worcester Wolves as they chase down a spot in the Play-Offs. Worcester have been improved in recent weeks and are targeting a strong finish under Tony Garbelotto.

Manchester Giants v Leicester Riders

The Riders won convincingly in the last meeting between the two in February after the Giants had ended their three-year title defence of the Trophy. Both sides complete weekend double-headers with Manchester victorious in both of their home games last month.

Cheshire Phoenix v DBL Sharks Sheffield

Cheshire held off the Royals two weeks ago for their first win since January, while the Sharks also ended a slide of their own with a narrow win in Worcester last Friday. A win for the hosts would leave both teams at 12-12 ahead of the final months of the season.

London Lions v London City Royals

The Lions do not have to wait long to try to extract revenge against the Royals after last Sunday’s Trophy Final thriller. Vince Macaulay’s side pulled away to win convincingly in the league meeting and London City saw their league charge halted on the road against Cheshire.
