Last season: The Raiders finished the league campaign in 10th place as they failed to hit double digits in the win column for the first time in the BBL. They fell in the Cup First Round, though did reach the last eight in the Trophy.
Back again: Seven-foot captain Zak Wells returns for the Raiders as does Estonian Joonas Jarvelainen after impressing in his debut BBL campaign. There are also returns to the Pavilions for two former players as Josh Wilcher and Donte Nicholas re-join the club following spells in Germany. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Denzel Ubiaro has penned a two-year deal.
New faces: British passport holder Shawn Shelton arrives out of Eastern New Mexico and is joined by two American rookies with Jamal Williams and Javis Howard out to make their mark as they all begin their pro careers in Devon. Also, Declan Soukup makes the step up from NBL D1 side Reading Rockets.
Pre-Season: The Raiders travelled to France to take on NM1 side CEP Lorient, where they went down in a testing two-game series. Following their return home, Plymouth enjoyed back-to-back home victories over NBL D1 opponents, Solent Kestrels and Thames Valley Cavaliers.
Outlook: A new era begins under Coach James and with First Round clashes with South-West rivals in the Cup and Trophy, there is a chance to instil renewed optimism.
