2020-21 BBL Championship winner returns to Glasgow

Glasgow Rocks tonight announced that they have signed Alasdair Fraser.

The 2020-21 BBL Championship winner initially joined the Rocks for a brief spell during the 2014-15 season after graduating from the University of Maine and playing in the German Pro A.

The 6’7″ 29-year-old power forward/center from Falkirk has also had spells in Spain, France and Netherlands but will undoubtedly be remembered best for his domineering spell at Rocks during 2017-20 seasons.

“I am delighted he has decided to return to the Rocks,” said¬†Coach Gareth Murray. “His post moves and passing out of the post are great assets for the team we have built.

“He has plenty of experience in Europe, knows who we are and what we are capable of. He is the perfect addition to the team.”

‘Ali’ is the seventh signing of the season after player-coach Murray also re-signed Boban Jacdonmi, Fraser Malcolm and signed Americans Jaycee Hillsman, Jordan Johnson, Elijah Minnie and Jordan Harris.
