With there being no game for Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks this weekend, London Lions will be hoping to edge ahead of the Glaswegian side to go top of the BBL Championship on Sunday, but first they have to get past Leicester Riders, who themselves are on a recent winning streak and have began advancing themselves up the standings too.

MANCHESTER GIANTS V PLYMOUTH RAIDERS

Date: Sunday 1 March 2020
Time: 5:00pm
Venue: George Carnall Sports Centre
Competition: BBL Championship

It’s the first meeting this season for Manchester Giants and Plymouth Raiders this season and should they fall to Bristol on Saturday, Manchester will still be in hopes of securing their first Championship win. But with Plymouth proving to be somewhat an achiles heel for the Giants – Raiders have won the last five encounters – could Plymouth bag themselves another win in the Championship?

Last time they met: Giants 89-99 Raiders (24 March 2019)
Last five meetings: Giants 0-5 Raiders

Competition: BBL Trophy, Semi-Final (2nd Leg)

The final BBL Trophy Finalist will be determined by the end of the weekend, with either Newcastle Eagles or Cheshire Phoenix joining Team Solent Kestrels in the Final on 15 March in Glasgow. Newcastle are carrying a night point advantage into this Sunday’s 2nd Leg but will that be enough to hold off Cheshire?
