7-9 Feb: What’s coming up in the BBL this weekend?

With the top three in the BBL Championship all falling to losses last Friday, this BBL season is proving to be the most competitive season yet.

Following their loss to Plymouth Raiders last Friday, Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks will be eager to pick themselves back up and pick up another win for themselves on Friday when they meet Bristol Flyers, as the top of the table race begins to heat up.

NEWCASTLE EAGLES V LONDON LIONS

Competition: BBL Championship

The first clash in the Championship this season between Newcastle Eagles and London Lions will prove to be a very interesting game. Both teams are looking to bounce back from losing last week and Eagles are hoping to continue to narrow the gap between them and Lions, whilst Lions will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the BBL Championship.

PLYMOUTH RAIDERS V SURREY SCORCHERS

Competition: BBL Championship

Plymouth Raiders picked up their very first BBL Championship win last week and it was a big win over 2nd place Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks. Now they’ll be hoping to continue the momentum as they meet Surrey Scorchers on Friday in front of a home crowd.

B. BRAUN SHEFFIELD SHARKS V WORCESTER WOLVES

Worcester Wolves picked up another big win last Friday following their BBL Cup triumph, defeating 3rd place Newcastle Eagles. Will they be able to continue their recent run with another win, this time against B. Braun Sheffield Sharks.

SURREY SCORCHERS V LEICESTER RIDERS

It’s the first time Surrey Scorchers and Leicester Riders have met this season and of the last three meetings, the winning margin hasn’t been greater than six points. So it’s no doubt their first clash this Saturday will prove to be another game not to be missed.

CHESHIRE PHOENIX V NEWCASTLE EAGLES
