LONDON LIONS V WORCESTER WOLVES

Defending Cup champions London Lions are beginning to pick up momentum following a rather rocky start to the BBL Cup campaign, having picked up back-to-back wins. They’ll be hoping to continue the run when they meet Worcester Wolves on Friday.

LEICESTER RIDERS V RADISSON RED GLASGOW ROCKS

Venue: Morningside Arena
Competition: BBL Cup, North Group

It’s all or nothing for Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks on Friday when they meet Leicester Riders. If the Glaswegian side lose, they’ll miss out on qualifying for the BBL Cup Quarter Finals. Win on Friday and they’ll still be in contention for a spot.

LONDON CITY ROYALS V SURREY SCORCHERS

Date: Saturday 9 November 2019
Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Crystal Palace National Sports Centre
Competition: BBL Cup, South Group

London City Royals will hope to bounce back from their very first loss of the season last week as they host Surrey Scorchers on Saturday night. Royals have already booked in their BBL Cup Quarter Final slot whilst Surrey Scorchers are still fighting for their spot and a win on Saturday will certainly boost their hopes for qualification.

Last four* meetings: Scorchers 0-4 Royals
*London City Royals only joined the BBL last year and therefore the two teams have only met four times so far.

Whilst both B. Braun Sheffield Sharks and Leicester Riders have clinched their BBL Cup Quarter Final spots, there’s still something to be determined. Who will top the Cup North Group standings? Currently both Riders and Sharks sit level on record so whoever takes the win on Sunday will take the advantage heading into the final weekend of the BBL Cup Group Stages.

MANCHESTER GIANTS V NEWCASTLE EAGLES

Competition: BBL Cup, North Group

Newcastle Eagles are just one win away from clinching their BBL Cup Quarter Final qualification and they’ll be hoping it comes this Sunday when they travel to the George Carnell Sports Centre to face Manchester Giants, who, whilst they no longer can qualify for the Quarter Finals, will be seeking to upset the Eagles’ hopes and pick up their second win of the season.
