BBL All-Star Five – Week 23

Another busy week in the BBL sees a familiar looking lineup, but also includes a debutant for the first time since Week 20.

Justin Robinson (London Lions)

The reigning league MVP makes it into the lineup for the third time in the past five weeks after two big displays as London Lions picked up two further wins. Robinson finished with 24 points in the success on the road against Plymouth Raiders before repeating the scoring feat against the Royals along with seven rebounds and seven assists.

Jordan Spencer (London Lions)

One of the performances of the season saw Spencer have a career-night with a huge 38-point outing in Tuesday’s win over the Royals. The former GB U20 guard hit seven threes and also added four assists to help the Lions to another victory at the top of the table.

Momcilo Latinovic (Cheshire Phoenix)

A return to the lineup for Latinovic after putting up 28 points in the win against DBL Sharks Sheffield. The Phoenix captain knocked down six of eight threes as part of an overall 10 of 12 shooting from the floor and also came up with two assists and two steals in the comeback victory.

Daniel Edozie (Bristol Flyers)

A debut appearance in the lineup for Edozie after helping the Flyers to victory on Saturday. The England international posted 19 points and 12 rebounds off the bench as Bristol avenged their recent defeat against Surrey.

Willie Clayton (Manchester Giants)

Clayton posted his fifth 20-20 game of the league campaign with another stellar double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds in the home win over Leicester Riders. The two-time Player of the Month also had the go-ahead tip-in in the final minute followed by a game-winning block for the Giants.
