BBL All-Star Five – Week 3

The third lineup of the 2018-19 season features two rookies, two familiar faces and one player making his second appearance.

Daniel Norl (Cheshire Phoenix)

The German-born guard had his best game for the Nix so far this season after finishing with 23 points along with nine assists as well as four rebounds, three steals and a block in his side’s 94-116 triumph on the road, on Saturday.

Tayo Ogedengbe (Surrey Scorchers)

The Scorchers captain was on course for a spot on the bench following his performance in Saturday’s home defeat before securing his place in the starting lineup with a 28-point haul – including 5 of 7 from 3-point range – to lead his side to their first victory of the season, in Manchester.

Dirk Williams (DBL Sharks Sheffield)

Williams ensured the Sharks would avoid two defeats on the weekend after putting up 22 points in a 17-point success away at Cheshire Phoenix. The high-flying wing also came up with five steals to spark the defence and added five rebounds in an all-round effort.

Donte Nicholas (Plymouth Raiders)

Another appearance for Nicholas after almost recording the first triple-double of the season. The Plymouth forward got his side going in the narrow victory over Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks and finished with an impressive 20 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.
