There are three debutants in our line-up this week and only the third player to reach four appearances this season.
Justin Robinson (London Lions)
The classy play of the British guard got London Lions heading towards the 2018 BBL Cup Final as the capital outfit collected a precious lead in the first-leg of their Semi-Final clash with Cheshire. Robinson registered 17 points from 5 of 7 shooting against Phoenix, also handing out 7 assists and accumulating 3 rebounds and 3 steals.
Chris Alexander (DBL Sharks Sheffield)
It’s a debut for Alexander as he proved to be one of Sharks’ twin turbos in the match-up in Manchester as he combined with Dirk Williams to inspire a road win for his side. The guard weighed in with 23 points against Giants, including a perfect night from the free-throw line – as well as dishing up 7 assists and harvesting 3 rebounds.
Earl Brown (Glasgow Rocks)
No stranger to our line-up from his previous stint in the BBL at Cheshire, Brown had the fans at the Emirates Arena off their seats with some spectacular plays against Leeds. He amassed one of the best displays of the 2017-18 campaign with a stellar 70% shooting effort returning 31 points and looking pretty alongside 9 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals.
Jordan Williams (Surrey Scorchers)
Our third new face sees the British forward come into the starting line-up after propelling Scorchers to an eye-catching triumph on the road at the Plymouth Pavilions. Williams tortured Raiders throughout, after going a stunning 75% from the field for 25 points and also completing a double-double by grabbing 10 rebounds.
CJ Gettys (Cheshire Phoenix)
The Cheshire big man is proving to be one of the best players in the league as his highly productive first season continues. His fourth appearance in our fantastic five comes off the back of a massive double-double in the win at Leeds Force. Gettys came up with 29 points from 66% shooting and corralled 13 boards, as well as swatting two shots.
Off the bench – Trayvon Palmer (Worcester Wolves), Dirk Williams (DBL Sharks Sheffield), Ali Fraser (Glasgow Rocks), Daniel Edozie (Bristol Flyers), Kinu Rochford (Plymouth Raiders), Callum Jones (Manchester Giants), Andy Thomson (Leicester Riders)
