BBL All-Star Five – Week 14

The new faces keep on rolling as we hit up 2018, with two more debutants making our line-up this week.

Nate Britt (Glasgow Rocks)
It’s a maiden starting slot in our fantastic five for the NCAA champion, with the Rocks’ newest recruit wasting little time in displaying his class. Britt was showing his full range of talents in the home win against Giants as he contributed 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, a block and zero turnovers in his 25 minutes on the floor.

Malcolm Riley (Cheshire Phoenix)
The Phoenix star is back for a third time in our starting line-up this season after he played a leading role in Cheshire emerging from Devon with a precious road win. Riley was a thorn in the side of Plymouth Raiders after raining down 24 points, only missing out on a double-double by one rebound and harvesting 3 assists and 2 steals.

Brandon Peel (London Lions)
Peel was central to Lions getting a first win under returning head coach Vince Macaulay at the first attempt, as they shot down DBL Sharks Sheffield. The forward impressed with his efforts at the Copper Box as he finished the contest with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, shooting a stellar 66% from the field.

Jordan Williams (Surrey Scorchers)
The Scorchers’ forward spent last Friday night racking up a highlights reel all of his own on BBC Sport as he threw down an array of dunks against Leeds Force. It wasn’t only the dropping of the hammer at the hoop which made everyone sit up and take notice, since Williams came up with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.

Alasdair Fraser (Glasgow Rocks)
The Scottish forward was too hot to handle for the Manchester Giants as he led the way at the Emirates Arena in pushing Glasgow into third spot. His debut slot came off the back of a towering 12 of 16 shooting effort which harvested 28 points. Fraser also added 6 rebounds, 3 blocked shots and 2 assists in a great night of work.

Off the bench – Pierre Hampton (Leicester Riders), Rohndell Goodwin (Bristol Flyers), Joonas Jarvelainen (Plymouth Raiders), Raheem May-Thompson (Cheshire Phoenix), Austin Rettig (Manchester Giants), Jack Isenbarger (London Lions), Dallin Bachynski (Worcester Wolves)
