Willie Clayton enjoyed a dominant period with Manchester Giants and has been rewarded with the Molten BBL Player of the Month accolade for November.
The powerful forward has had a major impact since arriving in the north-west and his rich vein of form reached dizzy heights during the month, as he proved to be the most efficient player in the league.
Clayton put up a massive and eye-catching November double-double of 17.5 points and 15 rebounds per outing, while helping Giants record Cup and league wins against Cheshire and Surrey respectively.
The victory against Scorchers was a pivotal and memorable one, since Clayton celebrated his birthday by propelling Giants to a first home success of the campaign with a stunning 12 of 14 shooting effort for 27 points – in addition to 14 boards.
Clayton fought off a major challenge from Fred Thomas of Bristol Flyers to land the gong.
