Saturday night saw action in the BBL Cup South Group, with five points in total settling the two games as Bristol Flyers and London City Royals maintained their good form.

Royals remain the only unbeaten team in the BBL as they made it five straight wins edging Surrey Scorchers 84-82 on the road. After a tight game throughout, Matt Scott scored four points in a row inside the last two minutes to turn around a narrow late deficit, as he finished with a startling double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds, 10 of which were offensive.

Elsewhere, their capital city rivals slipped to a third straight defeat as Bristol Flyers made it back-to-back home wins, beating London Lions 97-94. Five players scored in double-figures – led by 20 from Fred Thomas – as Flyers move to a 3-2 record in the Cup.
