Leicester Riders 54-80 Bristol Flyers (16-18, 33-33, 47-52)
(Riders – Washington 13, Johnson 11, Heron 10; Flyers – Lockett 18, Thomas-Edwards 11, Baker 11)
A stunning final quarter from Bristol Flyers saw them pick up an incredible victory over league leaders Leicester Riders on Tuesday evening.
The Flyers erupted in the fourth period and outscored the Riders 28-7 in a huge result for the playoff race.
Bristol travelled to Leicester on the back of a disappointing loss to the Riders on Saturday, and started the game brightly as they opened up a ten-point lead halfway into the second quarter.
The Riders responded well however and were led by Conner Washington as they fought back to make it a tie game at half-time.
Leicester had won their previous five on the bounce, but were met by an inspired Flyers side as they flew out the gates in the final period as they held the league leaders to a lowly seven points in the fourth and final quarter.
At the other end of the floor the win was rubber stamped by two emphatic alley-oops from Eric Lockett as he finished the game with a game-high 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

The win sees Bristol move within four points of seventh placed Worcester Wolves and four points clear of Surrey Scorchers and Manchester Giants as the playoff race heats up, as the Riders will look to bounce back against the Giants after a stunning Bristol performance.
