Leeds Force have today announced the signing of 6ft 3in guard Samuel Toluwase for the 2017-18 BBL season.
Toluwase, who was crowned a BBL Play-Off champion with DBL Sharks Sheffield in 2016, joins Force from Manchester Giants, where he averaged 14.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, whilst shooting 39% from the perimeter last season.
Leeds Force Head Coach, Mika Turunen, is looking forward to see what Toluwase can deliver and commented: “Samuel has great level of experience within the BBL. He is a true leader who will provide a great example to his teammates.
“I am really pleased that we have been able to sign Samuel, as I feel he will push this team forward and provide the fans with some great moments”
Toluwase will combine with BBL rookie Eric Childress and Latvian Ingus Bankevics to create a tough back court at both ends of the floor.
He will join up with his teammates in the coming weeks as the preparations start for the new BBL season. Season tickets for what is set to be the most exciting season in the club’s history, are available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
