French forward Mouliom excited to join the Nix

The 6’6 small forward comes to the Nix following the conclusion of his NCAA career where he played at Southwest Baptist University in Division 2. During his senior year Mouliom averaged an impressive 14.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game whilst shooting over 50% from 2 point range and over 32% from behind the arc.

Mouliom made a great impression on his conference, he was voted into the MIAA All-Third Team and the MIAA All-Defensive Team after leading his conference in blocked shots with over 1.5 per game, and it’s this that Coach Ben Thomas has really liked: “I’m looking forward to seeing Karim in a Phoenix jersey! He will be right up there with the best athletes in the league and has incredible length with a 6’11 wingspan.”

“His versatility on the defensive end of the floor will really help us next season, he is capable of defending multiple positions to a very high level.

“Offensively he is going to be a problem, he can score in multiple ways and loves to get after the offensive glass. I’m sure we will see some real highlight plays from him!”

After signing his first professional contract, Karim had this to say: “I am happy to start my professional career with Cheshire Phoenix.

“I want to thank my family, my agent, my previous coaches, and coach Ben Thomas who helped me get here.

“It is a pleasure and a blessing to have this opportunity to come play for the Nix. I am very excited to be a part of the team and I am looking forward to this upcoming season. Let’s go Phoenix!”
