Friday feeling of victory for Riders and Rocks

Leicester Riders and Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks both enjoyed home wins in the BBL Championship, on Friday night.

The Riders kept up the pressure on league leaders, London Lions, as they moved level on points at the top with an 86-76 success over Esh Group Eagles Newcastle behind 22 points from Pierre Hampton.

Meanwhile, Glasgow picked up their first win under interim head coach Vincent Lavandier as they closed the gap on the Play-Off spots after beating Manchester Giants 80-69 with Kenny Carpenter top scoring with 15 points.
