Marshall MK Lions are now second in the BBL after a hard fought 74-87 win at Big Storage Cheshire Jets.
The victory is Lions’ fourth in a row and completed an excellent weekend’s work, which began with a home win against Everton Tigers on Friday.
Cheshire made Lions work for the points though as they got back within two (56-58) at the start of the final quarter after trailing back eight (32-40) at half time.
However, Dru Spinks scored all his 10-points during the final stanza and the Lions kept their cool from the free thrown line to finish the match on 8-2 tear to seal the win.
Yorick Williams led all scorers with 31-points, while Jets’ Shawn Myers hit 29 for the home team.
