Worcester Wolves ended the group stages of the BBL Trophy with a 100% record after a comfortable 114-98 victory over Team Birmingham Panthers at the University of Worcester, Walsall Campus on Friday evening.

The Wolves exploded out of the blocks, and opened up an early 23-9 lead midway through the opening period.

The Wolves continued their dominance of the game, and an 18-9 run in the second quarter to take the score out to 52-34.

The Wolves were able to take a twenty point lead at 63-43 in at the half.

The second half saw the home side continue to hold their visitors at bay, and a 6-0 burst to start the final period took the score out to 98-76, and the Wolves held on for the victory.

Antony Paez led the Wolves scoring with 28 points for the home side, but it was Adam Williams who led all scorers netting 29 points for the Panthers.
