It was home wins all round Friday night as each home team picked up another win in the BBL Championship.

After obtaining their first win in the BBL Championship last week, Plymouth Raiders managed to follow up and pick up another, defeating Surrey Scorchers, 111-82.

Rashad Hassan led his team to victory, picking up 26 points and 13 rebounds, and he was assisted by Will Neighbour who tallied up another key 19 points.

B.Braun Sheffield Sharks brought Worcester Wolves’ recent run of big wins to an end as they emerged as victors, 76-69. Nick Lewis racked up 20 points for the Sharks and Connor Cashaw picked up a double-double for himself of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks picked up a mighty home win for themselves, defeating the visiting Bristol Flyers, 94-55.

The Glaswegian side caught an early lead, as they were up 16 points by the end of the first quarter, and then further extending it to 25 by half time. Top scorers Gareth Murray, Greg Pryor and Terrell Vinson combined for a total of 51 points, enough to defend home court.

And Newcastle Eagles also triumphed in what proved to be a close clash against the mighty London Lions, defeating the league leaders 108-97.

December’s Player of the Month CJ Gettys continued to lead the Toon side, racking up a whopping 30 points himself, whilst his team mate Rahmon Fletcher picked up a double-double for 19 points and 12 assists.
