Jerelle Okoro started his 2017-18 campaign at Manchester Giants and is now hoping to finish the season helping London Lions win the Play-Offs.
The 26-year-old has made 100 league appearances in the BBL since making his debut in 2012 and was part of the Leicester Riders squad that won the BBL Cup title in 2014.

And, Okoro is looking forward to stepping out at The O2 Arena on Sunday with a clear goal in mind.
“I’m more determined then excited,” he declared. “The team has a vision and we plan to see it through.
Okoro scored a best of 16 points for the Lions against Surrey Scorchers in February and has been able to add depth to an experienced roster.
“Playing at the Lions has been amazing,” he said. “The coaching staff and players have really put a lot of time and effort in bringing me up to speed with the style of basketball played and what they expect me to produce on and off the court.”
Okoro knows all about Sunday’s opponents having been part of the Loughborough programme and whilst facing Leicester adds to the occasion, it’s all about helping his current side win their first BBL title since 2008.
“Being in the Riders programme as a kid was a great experience,” he reflected. “It’s an honour to be able to contend against them in the Finals.
“We have been playing great team basketball. If we keep to what we are good at, I don’t see any team stopping us from getting what we want.”
