Lyons lands Molten Kevin Cadle BBL Coach of the Month award

It proved to be a flawless November for Atiba Lyons and DBL Sharks Sheffield, with the feel-good factor now extended further after the play-caller was handed the Molten Kevin Cadle BBL Coach of the Month accolade.

Lyons masterminded four wins from as many games during the period, as they continued the momentum from a big home win against Rocks at the end of October.

This means they now sit proudly on 5 wins in a row and perhaps most impressively, Sharks racked up a perfect November despite three of their four games being on the road.

They tipped off the action with a convincing 67-89 triumph at Worcester Wolves and then followed it up with an 83-93 success against the Scorchers at Surrey Sports Park.

In their only home outing, they powered past Cheshire 84-66 and were therefore able to extract some revenge for their disappointing Cup loss to Phoenix earlier in the campaign.

Sharks then wrapped up an excellent November with a hard-fought 57-66 win at the Plymouth Pavilions against Raiders.

Lyons pipped Vince Macaulay to the honour, with the London head coach having posted a strong case for recognition, with Lions riding high at the top of the BBL Championship and in the last four of the BBL Cup.
