Under the temporary leadership of Tony Garbelotto, Worcester Wolves ended their 18 game losing streak in the BBL Championship as they overcame Surrey Scorchers 84-79, with Deshawn Freeman scoring a team-high 23 points on his return to the Wolves.

Meanwhile up in the North-East, Esh Group Eagles Newcastle were able to outlast Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks in overtime 104-98 thanks to 26 points and 12 rebounds from Darius Defoe.
