With the 2018/19 season fast approaching, the Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks have added athletic big man, Bo Zeigler to their line-up.
The agile inside play of Zeigler will reinforce a front court that already boasts Great Britain veteran star Kieron Achara and Scottish International Ali Fraser.
Zeigler spent the majority of his college years with South Florida, before seeing out his senior year with the George Washington Colonials, where he averaged 7.3 points per game and shooting an impressive 62% from the field. During his senior year, he played in all 33 games, led the team with most dunks (28) and was ranked fifth in the Atlantic 10 Conference in field goal percentage.
Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks’ head coach, Darryl Wood is excited about his most recent acquisition
He stated: “It’s great to have Bo become one of us! We are excited to get him here to Glasgow, I think he brings great versatility to our roster, we spoke about his role in the team and that fits well with the strengths he has already demonstrated in his game.
“He will be a great addition to what we are trying to build for next season”.
Zeigler’s dynamic athleticism is tipped to bode well within the BBL and should compliment a veteran Rocks front court in Achara and Fraser.
The 6ft 6in big man is eager to make his mark and said: “Glasgow fans I am very excited to join a team with such a great fan base and lovely arena.
“I am also eager to get involved in the community and familairse myself with the culture and my fellow teammates. I look forward to putting on that Rocks jersey with great pride!”
