Staying Active And Staying Safe

With the most recent advice allowing people in England to go to parks and outdoor courts, there’s lots of training resources out there to help you improve your fitness and your skills on the court.

The main thing to remember is to play safely. Our friends at Basketball England have shared advice on what the latest measures mean for staying safe out on the court.

Basketball England have also shared some coaching sessions over on their Instagram page. For specific skills training, Newcastle Eagles player Drew Lasker has some drills on his Instagram or you can sign up for his Train Harder programmes.

Want to improve a specific area of your game? Breakthrough Basketball have compiled 100 different training drills which are divided out to help you focus on the areas you want to work on. Train For Hoops has a programme that will take you through 24 weeks worth of training.

For general fitness that the whole family can do, as part of their #JoinTheMovement campaign, Sport England has compiled some resources to suit all ages and abilities.

Need some equipment? The BBL Shop is still open though please note that due to measures brought in to ensure safety, delivery times may be longer than normal.
