Scotland National Team took the bragging rights against Glasgow Rocks Select in an enjoyable exhibition game.

Fans were treated to the perfect BBL Trophy Final warm-up as Scotland National Team took victory over Glasgow Rocks Select in an exhibition encounter played in high spirits. The National Team ran out 88-66 winners, much to the delight of the local fans.

The Scotland roster logged valuable minutes together prior to next month’s Commonwealth Games, while Glasgow took the opportunity to integrate some new faces.

Turning point – A 10-2 run for the National Team, midway through the second quarter, put daylight between Scotland and Glasgow. The cushion proved a telling one, with the Rocks unable to close the gap.

Key stat – The National Team dominated the boards, collecting 65 rebounds and pouring in 29 second chance points.

Game hero – Kieron Achara put in a captain’s performance for Scotland, netting a game-high 21 points. The veteran forward added 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks to complete an all-around impressive display.
