Tomsick brings versatility to backcourt of Plymouth

Plymouth Raiders are excited to announce the newest addition to their roster in the shape of Nick Tomsick.

The 26 year-old Croatian stands at 6ft 1in and is primarily a combo guard. Tomsick hails from Broomfield, Colorado, in the United States. It is in the US where he attended Fort Lewis college and averaged an impressive 20.4 points per game in his senior year, making the RMAC All-Star first team.

Last season, Tomsick played for KK Zabok in the A-1 Liga, the top division in Croatia, where he averaged 8.5 points per game.

Raiders’ Head Coach, Gavin Love is excited about another new addition to the team and stated: “Nick adds speed and creativity to our back court, together with deadly outside shooting.

“He can also play both the point and shooting guard position, giving us additional versatility, something that will be essential as the season progresses.”

The new recruit is already enjoying his time in Plymouth and looking ahead, with huge positivity, to the new season.

“I’m very happy to have signed with the Plymouth Raiders,” said Tomsick.

“I’ve only been here a couple of days, but everything in the club has been very professional and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

“I look forward to getting on the court with my teammates this week, getting this club back into the playoffs, and having a magical season.”

So, another new signing for the Raiders … but still no news on the whereabouts of Foxy. Have you seen him? Remember to post your photos on Social Media with #findthefox.
