Leicester Riders have signed first year pro Namon Wright ahead of the 2019-20 British Basketball League season.
Wright joins the Riders out of Colorado Buffaloes where he averaged 7 points, 2.8 rebounds per game before his senior season was ended early.
The Californian native produced well in his junior season averaging 9.7 points & 3.5 rebounds per game starting 12 games following transferring from Missouri.
The Riders latest signing is locked in and ready to get to work in Leicester ahead of the new season coming in the fall.
“I feel very blessed and happy to start my professional career with the Riders,” said Wright.
“What made me want to be with the Riders is their winning resume, coaches, as well as the opportunity to play in such a strong league with great fans.”
Wright becomes the sixth signing of the summer joining Andy Thomson, Jamell Anderson, Jesse Chuku, Josh Ward-Hibbert and fellow American Kyron Cartwright.
